Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Camden, NJ

Clear Image Scientific was invited to visit Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ to help solve ongoing, endemic problems with noisy signals in their EP Labs.

After a brief consultation with the EP Team, CIS' Grant Samuelsen installed the CIS noise-reduction system in Lab 3 for their evaluation.

The following feedback was provided after their evaluation.  Upon request, CIS also provided suggestions and feedback regarding the mitigation of environmental noise factors.

"I was at Lourdes for a case and asked the EP (Dr Sholevar) about his impressions of the signal quality in Lab 3.  He mentioned that the signals looked markedly better than before.  He then had the staff remove the notch filter from the Ablation signal and was quite impressed with the results.  He said he had not been able to remove the Notch filter in the past.  I also noticed better signals on Pentaray catheter. In the past there was always an artifact during catheter movement and we had to wait for the catheter to settle to see stable signals.  We will keep an eye on things for other cases and will report back."
